The Botanical of Structural Strength

Phlomis umbrosa (Sok-dan)
Phlomis umbrosa, commonly known as Sok-dan in Korea, is a traditional botanical whose root has long been valued in Korean herbal tradition.
The name “Sok-dan” literally conveys the meaning of “connecting what is broken.” Reflecting this meaning, Sok-dan has traditionally been associated with strength and resilience, particularly with supporting the body’s structural foundation of bones and muscles.
Botanically, P. umbrosa is characterized by purplish-red flowers arranged around the stem, broad serrated leaves, and a well-developed medicinal root.
In EstroG-100®, the root of P. umbrosa is carefully selected as one of its three signature botanicals.
